In January, Cincinnati had a chili cook-off that Nik, of course, really wanted to go to. It was held near the Findlay Market and we hurried to get there a few minutes before it started to ensure some chili. Apparently everyone else had the same idea as us and we got there just in time. There were a few "Cincinnati-style" chilies (one with Camel meat!) and a variety of other exciting options (a green chili with pork). Overall, most were good, but Nik and I thought we could've been a strong competition!
Maybe this January we'll be on top of things and enter the competition...
